Did you ever want to go to a show but the performance ticket price was way beyond your means? Well, in a large town the most powerful man wanted all the citizens to have the ability to attend, so he bought all the tickets and sent a flyer to every citizen to tell them they could come to the show free of charge! All they had to do was to contact him and ask for a ticket.
So all those who had contacted him came to the show which was an amazing performance! Isn’t that gracious of him?
An even more gracious gift is being offered: Eternal life with God! Just as the powerful man did, God has given us a way to Heaven with Him, but we must answer the call; we must contact Him and ask for His way in. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John: 3-16).
Don’t let anyone or anything distract you for this truth. Don’t be distracted and forget to ask for your ticket. You must believe that God exists and ask for forgiveness for your sins and accept His way to the show, His way to Heaven, which is through His son Jesus Christ! Just like in the story, there is no other way in!
